Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data: your email address and authentication identity, handled by our auth provider (Clerk). We do not store your password.

Prompt data: the text you submit is sent to the AI provider you target (Google Gemini, OpenAI) to generate the enhanced version. We use paid API tiers where inputs are not used to train models.

Usage + security data: aggregate counters (number of enhances, target AI, approximate cost), and — for anti-abuse only — a hashed combination of your IP and device fingerprint. We do not store raw IPs or fingerprints.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service, enforce fair-use limits, prevent abuse, process payments, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your prompts to train our own models.

Third-party processors

Clerk (authentication), Upstash (Redis counters + vector search), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (security/CDN), Google and OpenAI (AI processing of your prompt), and our payment provider (Creem.io, a Merchant of Record) for billing.

Each processes data only to deliver their part of the service, under their own privacy terms.

Data retention

Prompt content is processed transiently to produce your result and is not stored by pixiy. We retain only aggregate, non-identifying usage counters and hashed abuse-prevention keys, both of which expire automatically (usage counters within roughly 95 days; abuse keys within their rate-limit windows).

Account records are retained for as long as your account is active and are deleted when you delete your account, except where we are required to keep limited billing records to meet legal and tax obligations. If we change what we retain, we will update this policy and notify you before the change takes effect.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your associated records.

Depending on your location (e.g. EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, rectify, or restrict processing.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions and to remember your preferences (e.g. last target AI). We do not use advertising cookies at this time.
